Introduction

We respect your privacy rights and recognize the importance of secure transactions and information privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how TRADEEASY, its owners, and its affiliates (collectively referred to as “TRADEEASY”, “we”, “our”, “us”) collect, use, share, disclose, or otherwise process your personal and business information through the TRADEEASY website, mobile application, and related digital platforms (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”).

This Privacy Policy is an electronic agreement formed under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules and regulations made thereunder. This Policy does not require any physical or digital signature and shall be considered a legally binding document upon your access to or use of the Platform.

Objectives of Policy

TRADEEASY is required to collect, use, and process certain information relating to individuals and businesses, including but not limited to suppliers, buyers, freight forwarders, business partners, service providers, corporate users, employees, and third parties.

The objective of this Policy is to ensure that all personal and business information collected by TRADEEASY is processed lawfully, fairly, and transparently, and is protected against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure, in accordance with applicable data protection laws and industry best practices.

Collection of Information

TRADEEASY collects Personal Information and Business Information from you in a variety of ways when you interact with the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Installing, accessing, or using the TRADEEASY mobile application or website
  • Creating and managing an account on the Platform
  • Contacting customer support or communicating with us
  • Conducting transactions or subscribing to paid plans
  • Posting products, requirements, quotations, reviews, feedback, or other user-generated content

Identity and compliance-related documents such as GST registration, IEC (Importer Exporter Code), PAN, Passport, business licenses, and other government-issued documents may be collected for KYC purposes.

Information TRADEEASY Does Not Collect

TRADEEASY does not collect sensitive personal data or information, except where such information is strictly necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, or fulfill a lawful business purpose. TRADEEASY does not store historical location data in any form, except where limited location information is required to enable platform functionality.

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions Tiers & Billing

Trade Eazy offers premium functional tiers (Basic, Standard, and Premium Premium Tiers) via auto-renewable digital subscriptions. If you select to purchase an application service tier package subscription inside the platform environment, the specific payment terms detailed below apply legally:

Usage of Information

The information collected by TRADEEASY shall be used only for the purposes for which it has been collected. TRADEEASY may use such information for:

  • Providing, operating, and managing the services offered on the Platform.
  • Fulfilling requests for products and services.
  • Personalizing and improving our services, website, mobile application, content, and recommendations.
  • Detecting, preventing, and investigating fraud, misuse, abuse, security incidents, or unlawful activities.
  • Complying with legal obligations, including KYC, invoicing, taxation, and statutory compliance.

Disclosure & Transfer of Information

TRADEEASY does not share Personal Information for third-party marketing without consent. Information may be shared with suppliers, buyers, service providers, partners, or stakeholders strictly for order fulfilment, verification, customer support, analytics, compliance, payment processing, fraud prevention, and platform operations.

TRADEEASY does not transfer Sensitive Personal Data to third parties outside India except to provide requested services, improve Platform functionality, or where user consent has been obtained.

Retention & Review of Information

Personal Information is retained only as long as necessary for business purposes, legal compliance, fraud prevention, or legitimate interests. When information is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized.

TRADEEASY provides mechanisms to review, access, correct, update, or delete your Personal Information.

Children Information

TRADEEASY does not knowingly collect information from children below 13 years. Users below 18 years must use the Platform under parental or guardian supervision.

Data Deletion & Account Closure

We provide all users with the ability to delete their accounts and associated personal data at any time. You can initiate this process through the following methods:

  • In-App Deletion: Navigate to your App Profile, select 'Account Settings', and click on 'Delete Account'. Following a confirmation, your account and all non-transactional data will be queued for permanent deletion.

Upon account deletion, Trade Eazy will remove your personal information from our active databases. Please note that certain data (such as invoices or transaction history) may be retained for a limited period to comply with statutory legal, tax, or regulatory requirements under Indian law.

Security & Accountability

TRADEEASY uses reasonable physical, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect Personal Information. Payment data is handled in compliance with industry security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS). TRADEEASY maintains incident response and grievance mechanisms for handling privacy or data-related complaints.

Revisions to Policy

This Privacy Policy forms part of TRADEEASY’s Terms & Conditions. TRADEEASY may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
